A trip to the southwestern pueblos inspired this painting.
Overlapping the pot and bowl shapes, with edges fading in and out, elevated this from a traditional painting to a more semi-abstract design.

The roundness of the white flower container echos the circle shape of the sunflowers and the branches offer a bit of contrasting linear element.

The flower paintings are in water media, poured inks, acrylics, oils and watercolors and were executed on acid free, 100% rag paper and primed canvas. The use of bold, vibrant color, good design and composition makes for very dynamic paintings.
These fine art paintings are nicely framed, but may be purchased without the frames. The price remains the same however, I am selling the watercolor and acrylic paintings and not the framing. Of course, the shipping is much less unframed.
