were inspired by a trip to the zoo. The reflections in the water created abstract patterns that were in such contrast to the fish shape, and so made for a very dynamic and exciting composition.

This painting started as inks poured at random on paper. After allowing it to dry, I looked for subject matter.
Some of the bird shapes were already there, so it was an easy decision to go with birds !
